Harry Potter's middle name is James. This was given to him in honor of his father, James Potter, who was killed by Lord Voldemort along with Harry's mother, Lily Potter. Harry's middle name is not mentioned in the first book of the series, but is revealed in the fifth book, Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix.
